A man has died after he became trapped under a pile of animal feed at the back of his lorry.
Emergency services were called to the premises of farm feed company Harbro in Inverness at about 0900 GMT.
Kenneth Bissett, 56, from Fortrose, was freed and attempts were made to revive him. But the Harbro driver was later pronounced dead at Raigmore Hospital.
Northern Constabulary are to send a report on the incident to the procurator fiscal.
Police, Highland and Islands Fire and Rescue Service and Scottish Ambulance Service paramedics attended the scene.
'Being investigated'
A spokesman for Northern Constabulary said: "Upon arrival it was established that a 56-year-old man had been freed from a pile of animal feed at the rear end of his lorry.
"Attempts were made to resuscitate the man and he was subsequently taken to Raigmore Hospital's accident and emergency department.
"Sadly the man was pronounced dead at around 0930 GMT this morning."
Harbro commercial director George Menson said it was unclear exactly how the accident had happened.
He said: "We do not know too much at this stage. Obviously there has been an accident and it is being investigated."
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has also been called to the scene at Longman Industrial Estate.
