Australia - Canadian giant Viterra, who aquired Australia's ABB Grain in September, have just signed a new stock feed deal with the port of Geelong. Asciano-owned operator GeelongPort announced today the agreement that will be a big boost for the port of Geelong. GeelongPort is the largest regional port in Victoria.
Amid predictions of a 35% increase in trade over the next 10 years, the Viterra agreement, for an undisclosed sum, will see more than 140,000 tonnes of stock feed shipped through the port next year.
