JSC "Velikoluksky meat" will invest 50 billion rubles in the expansion of their pig-breeding complex and for the construction of a feed mill. By 2015 plan to increase capacity of its pig farm up to 2 million heads.
The company explained that the 50 billion rubles is the total amount of investment for the entire project. This figure includes which includes the already completed pig farm .
The expansion will see the construction of new pig sites, and the second stage will include a feed mill, a new slaughter house, processing plant, as well as a plant for the production of baby food.
JSC "Velikoluksky meat" was founded in 1944, and is one of the largest meat processing companies in Russia.
