A new Total Mixed Rations (TMR) feed production factory has opened in Mungyeong, S.Korea. Operated by Mungyeong Livestock Coop, the feed mill produce 100 tonnes of mixed ration feeds per month.
More than 1500 people attended the opening ceremony including members of Government. The project cost a total of KRW6 billion (USD$5.58 million). The feed plant was equipped with 16 different kinds of feed production machinery, with all being state-of-the-art and automated.
Songmyeongseon, Mungyeong Chukhyup union president, said that cheap and good quality mixed feed could now be supplied directly to the cattle farmers, and as a result beef production should be more productive.
