The construction of the feed plant "Pushkin" in the Omsk region has entered its final stage. The feed mill included in the investment project of regional significance "Biocomplex", will be put into operation later year.
Negotations are under way between farmers and Omsk-Titan in regards to the purchase of feed crops to be used as ingredients in the production of feeds, with both parties set to benefit according to the Ministry of Agriculture.
First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk region Oleg Podkorytov noted that the processing of agricultural products is one of the main directions for development of the industry. The introduction of a complete feed diet for the animals will increase the productivity of livestock and poultry.
Titan-Agro plans for the construction of two more companies, including a plant for the for processing of grains, as well as the elevator and flour mill.
To date, the project "Biocomplex" invested more than 5.5 billion rubles. On the part of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the regional branch of the Ministry shall support investors in terms of subsidizing the interest rate on the loan. The project will continue to be supported by the Government of the Omsk region.
