Mikhailovsky Broiler CJSC, one of the largest poultry producers in Far East Russia, have started the construction of a new feed mill.
The feed mill is to produce 3 railroad carts or 210 tonnes of broiler feed a day to feed their own poultry stock.
The company's feed mill it will replace was built in 2006, however since then the company's meat production has more than doubled since then, the feed mill is no longer sufficient to meet the company's required feed.
Deputy Director General of factory farming at Mikhailovsky Broiler, Oleg Mamaev, said that the capacity of the new feed mill under construction will be 25 tons per hour.
All raw materials for feed produced will be bought domestically in Russian. With the company involved in the work with nine farms located throughout the territory of Primorsky Krai, from Dalnerechensk to Ussuriysk.
