Thai conglomerate Charoen Pokphand Group (CP), known as the Chia Tai Group in China, recently put into operation its new feed mill located in Jingchuan feed mill. The feed mill to be operated by its Lanzhou Branch has an operating capacity of 300,000 tonnes.
The new feed mill features a large production workshop, using a domestically procured fully automated production line.
The feed mill will make use of Chia Tai Group's scientific nutritional formula, computer-controlled production process, strict testing throughout quality control, for the processing and production of high quality feed that can meet a variety of different growth stages of aquatic animal nutritional needs.
The total project will cost a total investment of CNY150 million yuan, and cover an area of ??128 acres. It will have a final designed annual production capacity of 300,000 tonnes, to be completed in two phases.
Th first phase copmleted has come at an investment of CNY120 million Yuan for the construction of the main plant, laboratories, library materials, finished products, etc. The new plant will have an annual output of 150,000 tonnes of feed production, annual sales income of 495 million yuan, profits of 50.6 million yuan, and employ 200 people.
