Farmers in Ukraine will now have easier access to Danish equipment for feed production and pig production, as SKIOLD A/S has just set up with own company in Ukraine.
"We have gained a foothold on the Ukrainian market, and we wish to serve the local clients even better. That is the reason why we have set up centrally in Ukraine, in the city Cherkasy," Erik Ovesen says, export manager at SKIOLD A/S.
The new company will stock spare parts, provide service, and sell major projects, mainly to pig producers.
"Our clients in Ukraine are both Danish and local farmers. Most often the projects include everything from plants for storing of grain, feed milling plants, equipment for pig production, ventilation and feeding plants for the pens," Erik Ovesen says.
As of now, the new SKIOLD company has four employees and is managed by managing director Roman Murachov, who has been employed with SKIOLD in Denmark for seven years.
Besides the new company in Ukraine, SKIOLD has own companies in Russia, China, Australia, Sweden, and France.
"It is our experience that we perform best in the countries where we have established own companies. That is also the reason why we now set up in Ukraine, as here we have a large market - but also strong competition," Erik Ovesen adds.
