U.K. animal-feed production rose 4.9 percent in November from the same month a year earlier, the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs said.
Raw material usage in the production of feed rose 5 percent from a year earlier, Defra said today in a report on its website. Cattle and calf feed from July through September averaged 179 pounds ($280.35) a metric ton, little changed from the same period a year earlier. Pig feed prices rose 1.4 percent and poultry feed gained 2 pounds to 224 pounds, Defra said.
