A feed mill is part of University of Agriculture Faisalabad plans to create a model cattle market in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
The model to be located at Proka Research Farms, is a collaboration between the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and the Livestock and Dairy Development Department.
Its aim is to small cattle famers as will as playing a pivotal role in academic and research studies.
The model cattle market will be equipped with modern facilities, and will include a model slaughter house, grain market, feed mill, students' hostel, a restaurant and will keep a complete database of animals for complete traceability.
Officials from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad and the Livestock and Dairy Development Department are working on the project, and it is expected to be set up by October of this year.
